Is a Bespoke Suit Possible in a Short Visit?

Yes — with planning. For a three-day visit, a made-to-measure or semi-bespoke service with a single fitting on day two and collection on day three is realistic. For a five-day visit, you can have a full fitting on day one, a basted shell fitting on day three and collection on day five — two proper fittings, which significantly improves the result. For a seven-to-ten-day visit, the full bespoke process is comfortably accommodated.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

Bring a shirt and trousers that fit you reasonably well — not your best suit, but something that gives our cutter a sense of your proportions. If you have photographs of suits you like (from magazines, websites or your own wardrobe), bring those too. A clear brief — business suits, a wedding suit, a tuxedo, travel suits — helps us make the most of limited time. No preparation beyond this is necessary.

Pricing and Customs Considerations

Hong Kong has no customs duty on outbound tailored garments for most nationalities. Your home country may charge import duty if you declare the suits on arrival — check your local regulations. Most clients fold their suits flat in a suit carrier as cabin luggage; we can provide a quality suit carrier for travelling if needed.

Staying in Touch After Your Return

If any minor alteration is needed after you return home, we will reimburse reasonable local alteration costs. For clients who return to Hong Kong regularly, your pattern remains on file indefinitely — meaning your second and subsequent orders are faster, better-fitted and require fewer fittings. Many of our tourist clients become repeat clients precisely because of this relationship.
