When to Start: Timeline Planning

For a wedding suit, begin the commission process at least eight to ten weeks before your wedding date. This allows for the full bespoke process: consultation, measurements, fabric and style selection, basted fitting, revision and final fitting. If you are visiting Hong Kong specifically for your wedding suit, plan a stay of at least seven to ten days to allow for two proper fittings.

Choosing Your Wedding Suit Fabric

Fabric choice depends on season, venue and style. Spring and summer weddings call for lightweight wools (260–300g), linen blends or tropical weaves in lighter colourways — cream, champagne, pale grey, mid-blue. Autumn and winter weddings suit heavier wools, flannels or cashmere blends in charcoal, midnight blue, deep grey or black.

For the most photographically striking results, we recommend fabrics with subtle texture — a fine herringbone, a tonal birdseye or a refined plain weave with slight sheen. Flat matte fabrics can look flat in photographs. Our team will help you choose a cloth that looks exceptional both in person and on camera under different lighting conditions.

Style: Suit, Morning Dress or Tuxedo

The three most common choices for a Western wedding are a lounge suit (formal business-style, most versatile), morning dress (tail coat and striped trousers — traditional church wedding) or a dinner suit/tuxedo for black-tie evening weddings. Most grooms opt for a two- or three-piece suit in a distinctive colour — navy, midnight blue, charcoal with a fine stripe or deep burgundy — that photographs beautifully and can be worn again for formal occasions.

Personalisation: Making the Suit Yours

A wedding suit is the perfect commission for personalisation.
