How to Order a Custom Suit Online from Hong Kong

Whether you are in New York, London, Sydney or Singapore, our proven process ensures your measurements are captured correctly, your fabric choices are well-guided and your finished suit arrives fitting precisely.

Step 1 — Take Accurate Measurements

The most critical step in a remote order is accurate measurements. We recommend having a local tailor or alterations specialist take your measurements, or following our detailed measurement guide. Key jacket measurements: chest, waist, hips, shoulder width, sleeve length, back length and jacket length. For trousers: waist, seat, thigh, inseam and outseam.

Send us photos alongside your measurements — front, side and back, in a well-fitted shirt and trousers. Our master cutter reviews every submission and will ask follow-up questions about your posture, any fit issues with existing suits and your style preferences before cutting begins.

Step 2 — Choose Your Fabric Online

Our fabric catalogue features over 3,000 swatches from the world's finest mills — Dormeuil, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Loro Piana and Vitale Barberis Canonico. We can mail physical swatch samples to you so you can feel the weight, drape and texture before committing. Most clients find this step enjoyable — it is where the suit truly becomes yours.

Tell us your intended use: daily business, occasional formal events, travel, warmer climates. We will narrow down fabric recommendations based on weight, weave, fibre content and durability to suit your specific brief.

Step 3 — Confirm Style Choices

Once fabric is confirmed, we discuss construction details: single or double-breasted, notch or peak lapels, number of buttons, pocket styles, vent style, trouser pleat and break preference, and personalisation options like monogramming or contrast lining. All style preferences are documented and confirmed before cutting begins — there are no surprises at delivery.

Step 4 — Postal Fitting Service

For first-time remote clients, we recommend our postal fitting service. We send a basted (rough-assembled) shell of the jacket in unfinished form. You try it on, mark any fit adjustments with tailor's chalk or pins and return it. This adds two to three weeks to the process but significantly increases precision — especially important for clients with non-standard proportions.

For clients who have ordered previously, or for those with standard proportions, we typically proceed straight to the finished garment, with alterations handled locally if needed after delivery.

Delivery and After-Sales

Finished suits are carefully packed with cedar blocks, tissue-wrapped and shipped via DHL or FedEx with full insurance. Delivery to most major cities takes three to five business days. All international orders include a complimentary alteration allowance — if anything needs minor adjustment on arrival, your local tailor can make the change at our expense (we reimburse up to HKD 800 in alteration costs on your first order).
